Top Design: Eat, Sleep, Work
[Matt’s Room via Bravo] didn’t win (he was robbed!) because too many people have already used that shade of green that Matt used on the walls.
I may be the only one still talking about this show. Last week a lot of people jumped ship. This week, like last, someone doesn’t have the “Top Design” because of the color. However you can have the “Top Design” if you disregard the clients needs.
This week was classic. Although it didn’t go the way I called it. In fact, Carisa won this weeks design challenge. This was a shock because the client walked through and commented “…I told her we have to have storage..” as she looks for some anywhere. Another ironic part to Carisa’s train wreck space, there was another table on casters. This table was to run adjacent to the one on the wall. It was depth of the room and traveled the width. It clearly didn’t work. The table was a good idea on paper but not
when it was implemented in the space. Carisa believed it was detrimental to the rooms design. She couldn’t see it wasn’t working, instead she was blaming the carpenter for poor construction. Carisa is delusional. [below Carisa’s Room via Bravo]
Ryan is still swimming. I hated his design so much I didn’t even want to post it. Ryan has got to go. He is also delusional, but you also have to add an inflated view of his own talents. All of this doesn’t even come close to his attitude toward the other designers, the show, and even the judges. He believes he is such a talented installationon artist;
“…pretty is just to easy…”
I am still betting on Goil even though he didn’t hit a home run this week. Erik was added to my radar. I’m excited for next weeks episode, are you? Do you have a favorite? Until then.
