Top Design: All In One Garage

Finally Ryan is gone!

This week, redesign a garage into a functioning “all in one” place to entertain, store, and park a car. The clients, the Bell family of 5, two girls and one boy. The designers were given 2 hours to create a model of their designs. Then the designers were given 3 minutes to present to the family.

The presentations were quick, but it was enough time for two designers to create classic TV moments. First, Ryan (clueless) told the people to get rid of a lot of stuff. Second Michael, was presenting and so over the top he confused the little boy. It was so funny I was peeing myself, the camera man focused in on the boys face as he observed Michael laughing, this was DEFINITLY his first interaction with a gay man.

After deliberations the Bell family picked Andrea’s design. I have to admit her design was the most intuitive. Goil, my favorite, gave me a moment for concern when he was nervous about having his design chosen. The winning designer would receive amunity but also was considered a Forman for the task. Actually, a baby sitter.

Ryan should have been axed during the Cabana episode 3. His attitude “I AM AN Rtist, I pity interior decorators”. The way he says “interior decorator”, I can’t but hear disgust in his voice. Ryan actually insulted the judges two weeks ago, so he TRIED to apologize. The next words out of his mouth:

“…personally this is not a project I would have taken on, I would have been able to walk away from the money…”

OH! but wait, Michael almost got kicked off for his color choice. Again with the color choices. An accent color almost claims another!

The task itself, boring! Final result, Bo-oh-ring! The Bell Family loved it! Which is what counts and I am sure other viewers are reconsidering their own garage’s usefulness.

Kelly Wearstler is HOT!

The guest judge was Mark Rios. Go check out his firm’s web page as well. The Bell Family home was designed by Architect Paul Williams.

I’m in for the long haul, especially next week! Someone makes Goil CRY! THAT BITCH! (retracting claws…)
