The Old Train House B&B

The Ballyhooly Old Train House B&B rests in beautiful County Cork, Ireland. It’s a 19th centure railway building that has recently been converted into a B&B for curious tourists. Once upon a time, it was part of the Great Southern & Western Railway line, and it’s a great stop for railway fans.
It’s also great for fishing and nature walk enthusiasts, as the B&B is located near the Blackwater River, and Nagle Mountains.
County Cork, Ireland is home to a huge number of Classic Car Clubs, so if you’ve got an old beauty to show off, that’s the place to do it. The B&B even has its own classic cars collection to show off!
And if you’re a literature fanatic, you might’ve heard of a little piece of work called ‘The Ghost of Ballyhooly’ written by Betty Cavanna. A tour of the area will certainly enrich your experience of the book, as many scenes described in the novel remain untouched by time.
I think they had me at ‘Ballyhooly’.
