Spontaneous Me

by Jennifer Chait on June 22nd, 2007

So, I’ve been thinking that it might be cool to do something a little different for Fridays. Add a bit of zing to the end of the week. Maybe “Fake” Fridays, “Fun” Fridays, or… well you get the picture. I’ve had some interesting ideas and actually had a little something all planned out for today. And then in my search for something entirely different I found this (just wait) and thought it might be fun to play a little game.

And although “Game” Friday was not the original plan I’m going to go for it. Honestly — because I can and also because this structural item I found today is simply too cool to pass up.

Take a good look at this:

And this:

The two of these pictures have something in common.
What on earth could it be?

Do you know?

Cast your vote and I’ll be back sometime tomorrow with the answer and more information on these cool structures.

JUST one thing in common? Maybe Frank Lloyd Wright slept there. Maybe they’re made of compressed styrofoam. They would both be illegal in Santa Fe, I think. Maybe they’re both test houses for Sherwin-Williams.

Ha. Funny. Great with the unschooling maybe not so much with the guessing of structural games. Although, I must admit compressed styrofoam homes is an awesome guess and if it were true it would make it way more ecological for folks who like to eat at Sonic — save your cups, build a house. Maybe that should be their new slogan?

    Thanks for stopping by!

Arrrgh. I’m terrible at guessing things. Are they both churches? But that wouldn’t be terribly clever, since one has crosses all over it.

The same odd red color appears, which is why I liked the paint test-house theory (and the illegal in Santa Fe theory as well, for that matter).

I shall just have to await smarter guessers or the actual answer!

Are they both made of Lego’s ?

Crabby - no but as always I’m happy to see you and you were much closer than with any old lyric game from another nameless blog I know.

And Paticus! What the heck. Do you win every game you play. They are not both made out of Lego’s but you are so close (see above). I think you are the quiet genius type. Good job and thanks for visiting.
