Seriously Lust Worthy Lundberg Design House
That title’s not joking around. This home is one of those top ten dream homes you hear about. Well, it’s one of my top ten dream homes anyhow. Actually if you wanted to create a top ten dream structure list you could just visit the Lundberg Design and be perfectly fine. All the work is appealing; some is more offbeat than others but all have aesthetics and flow that make you drool.
Lust worthy and built with mostly reclaimed material including redwood. Ah, green lust — my favorite kind. The pool was a water tank for livestock in its former life and is 14 feet deep.

More after the jump… including the view. In case you didn’t guess, yes the view is to die for.
Again, it’s the little design aspects that can make a structure go from great to extraordinary. You would think the unique wood cache would maybe look cluttered but the decision to have it there worked out so well. Don’t you think?

I love how the deck runs round most of the home.

The view! The years I spent in New Mexico I had dreams that looked like this. I really missed trees. If I had this view I would never leave home. I’d just hook up the computer outside and park it.

Beautiful. Nicely lined. Great colors. Lust worthy all around.
See more of this home right here. All the structures at Lundberg Design are worth a look but I’d suggest you also check out The Crull House and Grouf Residence (this one is amazing!). I also had a great time reading the Practice philosophy; which for an architect’s site was stated in a very down to earth way. Good stuff.

Yup when I am rich I will have a nice cozy Lundberg. Although… I do like a lot of architects. I always sort of wonder what exactly I’d do if I had the money to hire my dream architect. It would take me a year just to narrow the list. Lundberg would make the top cut though.

I’m glad you like it Noreen — this is one of my most favorite homes ever. Also, thanks for checking out so many Offbeat posts. I’m noting this here because following you around may be hard :)
