reZONED Looking for Converters
There’s a relatively new show being broadcast on HGTV called reZONED and their premise is to provide tours of the most unlikely public places that folks have transformed into personal palaces. From a dam in Nebraska, to an Icelandic car ferry and a grain barn in Texas, they take you to all kinds of cool one-of-a-kind homes.
Well, if you happen to be of the converter sort yourself, then reZONED is looking for you. The show’s production company, High Noon Entertainment, is looking for homeowners that have/had the vision and creativity to convert a public building into a residence. According to their press release, ideal candidates would include the following…
Remarkable Transformations: We’re looking for interesting and inspiring transformations that are COMPLETE or nearly completed. It is important that some elements from the original purpose remain or are incorporated. For example, one show featured a church that was transformed into a single family home complete with furniture constructed from the original pews.
Enthusiastic Homeowners: Homeowners should be passionate about their home and excited to share it with our audience. We focus on their PERSONAL stories of design, renovation and life in the new home.
Before Photos, Videos or Documents: Because the renovations we feature are complete, we would like to show the building before, during and after the transformation. Home videos, archival photos, simple snapshots and supporting documents are all welcome.
If you think you might have what it takes to get yourself on TV, then head on over to the reZONED page at HGTV for more details on how to get in touch with the folks at High Noon.
