Home Of Your Dreams or Dream Home?
As a kid we built some cool treehouses. We even camped out in them a couple of times. They never seemed big enough or protected you from all the elements. That was never the point though was it?
Would you live in a treehouse full time? Maybe just a vacation home. Waterfield Designs will make that dream come true for you. In fact they claim to be the one stop shop. Initially creating a 3D design of your fairytale home. Then from that 3D model construction begins. All Waterfield Designs are prefabricted to minimize waste and damage to the site. All thats left is for them to deliver and assemble.
Waterfield Designs don’t just create tree homes. They also create beautiful garden sheds. These types of structures are a growing trend. A garden shed could create an extra living space for a home office or a play room for kids.
I couldn’t find actual homes they have created. Nor did I see any pre-designed floor plans to pick from. I believe this to reassure you of a “pure” custom design feeling. The designs are original and would give you that fairytale feeling everytime you entered your new treehouse. Is it practical? Not for me. I’d also have concerns of how the homes would hold up over time. The movement of the trees and what that does to the structure. Besides, we are talking about a tree house and a sprinkle of fantasy.
