December’s Reader Appreciation Contest Winners!
You know, I realized this week that I never did give the correct answer regarding the last bonus points — sorry, I spaced it.
The answer was:
Everyone playing, correctly guessed that Josh Johnson from HGTV was the real Offbeat visitor. However, most people seem to think, that if it were up to me, I’d like to have a Food Network guest here at Offbeat, which is far from true.
Only Nick Allen correctly guessed that I would love an X-Files guest and got the extra 5 points. (Go Nick!). I adore the X-Files. In case you think I’m joking, I wrote about it here. I figured it would be obvious what with the “offbeat” theme we have here. Oh, well.
The contest winners: Sorry it took me so long to suss out the winners. Mainly, it’s because we had two clear winners, but then two others who were so close that I ended up re-counting about ten times to be sure the real winner won.

Congratulations to the winners! It was an extremely close race. Thanks to everyone who played along. This was such a great contest that I’m pretty sure that I’ll be throwing another one this spring or summer.

Darn, I almost said X Files, I thought it seemed like a show you’d like, but I know you enjoy Food Network too. Great contest, and great bonus question.

Nick ~ Ah, Nick, you were sooooooo close. I mean close. I was rooting for you too after you scored the X-Files question. Still, thanks for playing and thanks for the Russia heads up. I’m working on a big project right now but plan to surf readers blogs as soon as I get caught up. Russian house designs I would love to see.
