Cowabunga - It’s the Simpsons House
No kidding! It’s really the Simpson’s House. In 1997, Fox Broadcasting and Pepsi-Cola held a contest to win a full-scale replica of the Simpsons house, just like in the cartoon series.
The home was located in Henderson, Nevada, on Red Bark Lane in the Springfield Community South Valley Ranch. The community was named after the Simpson’s cartoon character’s home town.
The Simpsons House was painted a vibrant yellow and baby blue - both inside and out. Power orange, generator green, jazz age coral and pink flamingo colors adorned the furniture, walls and floors inside. To build the replica of the cartooned house, the architects - Kaufman and Broad - spent hours watching episodes of The Simpsons, trying to figure out how the characters moved from room to room and even noting where mouseholes were (there are three).
The Las Vega Sun newspaper still maintains a web site for the house, complete with photo gallery, video’s and the floor plans. Check it out at Springfield, Nevada here.
I have no idea if it’s still there in its original form or if the neighbors mounted a revolt and re-painted it.

Dear sir/madam
I am writing this message asking permission to use some of your simpson pictures in my ICT GCSE coursework for school. I will add the fact that I got it from http://www.offbeathomes.com. If you would grant me permission I would be very appreciative. Thank you for your co-operation
Yours Faithfully

Well, you can likely use them but it would be best to give credit to where they first came from which is http://www.lasvegassun.com/dossier/misc/simpsons/index.html
Thanks for asking :) But I don’t own them; the other site is the original site.

every plan i see of the simpsons house is wrong! firstly it shows a rompass room, and i dont remember ever seeing a rompass room, secondly it shows the laundry on the ground floor, but everyone knows that it is in the basement!
