Who loves this house?

Choose me! ME!
I love this house. Love how it was captured on film. AND I especially love the colors.
You will love it too - but you’ll have to leave me to go see it (copyright, and no time for permission issues.) Yeah, I get impatient. Also, there’s more cool stuff to see at this blog, […]

Living spaces that extend your life

From the folks who brought the world the incredible Reversible Destiny Lofts (Architectural Body Research Foundation Arakawa + Gins) comes a new vision, the Hotel Reversible Destiny. The work of this team is pretty wacky, if you haven’t seen it the Reversible Destiny Lofts are a good place to start. Here’s a taste:

Could your life use some color?

Mine could. What’s always nice to see when you need color is the Hundertwasser Haus. This place really took color to the extreme. I love this structure, because it’s so water colored, not blunt, more subdued. Know what I mean?

Sweet Little Colorful Home

I’ve had this bookmarked for ages and ages, but never posted it, because frankly it’s not so offbeat. But man, I can’t keep bookmarks forever. I’ve wrestled with posting it, and due to the fact that I think it’s a head turner, I’m gonna.

How adorable, right?  It reminds me of some tiny Berkeley homes I […]

Camouflaged Homes

This first one is sure not very hidden. Still, there’s no denying that it’s camouflaged.

Personally I like that tree camouflage house that was sweeping the web last year, the one on every architect and design site known to man. I never showed it here, mainly because it was everywhere -overkill. That said, it’s […]

Middle of the Night Black House

It’s late. Why not post a black (and really weird) house that I know nothing about.
Check out the fish! I could never live somewhere like this. It’s so bleak. Although it’s not like you see black houses every day, so props to that I guess.

This house photo is from the blog, WhatISee. One I love […]

Weirdest Parish Ever

If it’s not the weirdest parish, it’s at least the most orange. I could only find a tiny photo, but maybe that’s for the best - it’s shocking even small.

See a back view of this and more weird churches at Zaragoza de Luxe.

The Most Sticky Sweet Pink House of All the Pink Houses in the World

The perfect home for you, if you happen to be Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, My Little Pony, or Polly Pocket. Real people; well, that I’m not so sure about.

White Paint Is Boring

Here are some ideas about how to make your home more offbeat color worthy than with a simple bucket o’ white paint. Or at least how to shock your neighborhood association.
Granted, this below was an advertising campaign. Still, it does sort of make you shudder. It’s not boring though.

Here’s a second “Orange House” and […]
