See, I won’t build a whole house out of these, but I really wouldn’t mind seeing someone else do it.
What’s the homebuilding item you need, but never knew you needed?
Gameboy bricks:
How cool would my son think I was if I did build a house out of these? Pretty darn cool. Check them out as a […]

One determined, yet somewhat disenchanted architect + pounds of garbage + many good deeds + a hard core attempt at social change = slick homes.
Sounds like the movie of the year to me.
Garbage Warrior:
Released in Canada cinemas starting February 15th.

Not me. Well, not anymore. If you’re Paul Morgan Architects then you know plain old water tanks are so last year. Marye, from Kettle & Cup, sent me a heads up about this beautiful home, the Cape Schank House. It’s posted at Materialicious - with a name like that, you know it’s a blog you […]

In the previous post I said I’d be back with more about Tumbleweed - so, here I am. The benefits of owning and living in such a small home, are of course, huge. Well, unless you have a big family. Then, I suppose, you’d need a bunch lined up, caravan style.

Read more about the home itself, and see more pictures, at Metro or the Daily Mail, or learn more about […]

So, on a good day, I bet I could pull this off:
That’s a big maybe though - I’m not so talented with wet sand.
Team Sandtastic, on the other hand, is incredibly talented with sand. They build sculptures from table-top size to over 200 tons. Insane. They work with some huge names too, but mostly I […]

I wish Mr. Bruno had a tad more (read any) details about his work on the Steel House at his website. However, being that this structure is genius, perhaps he thought it would simply speak for itself.
Look how amazing the interior is.
Another exterior look.
Here’s my favorite part…
So, do we need more words? See a great […]

To be honest, I’m not even sure if Luna Parc is in the Offbeat archives or not. I didn’t bother to look because anything this odd can absolutely be shown here more than once. Not to mention that there have been some changes this autumn.
There’s almost nothing you can say other than this is one […]
