Architecture School on the Sundance Channel
I got a recent email about what seems to be a pretty cool television show idea. It’s rare to see building and architecture shows, so it’s nice to hear about one. Actually, I got an email about another building show the same week - odd, but we’ll look at that show later.
This show is “Architecture School”, a six-part series from creators Michael Selditch and Stan Bertheaud and premieres on August 20th, on the Sundance Channel. The show covers Tulane University’s School of Architecture, focusing on a competition to design and build affordable, sustainable homes in New Orleans. Of course the show will also look at the lives behind the people and neighborhoods who’ve been affected by Hurricane Katrina.
I think it sounds awesome. It sounds sort of like the Real World, but you know, interesting, and the only drama going on, will hopefully be about the structures.
See “Architecture School” on Wednesday, August 20th at 9:00 et/pt
